TESKO production plant

TESKO is the largest and the most significant manufacturer of glued wooden constructions in the Czech Republic. For more than 50 years, it has been designing, manufacturing and assembling different kinds of glued wooden constructions and other wooden constructions. Simultaneously, it can show off its unique experience and specialists in the field of glued wooden constructions.

Glued wooden constructions have had becoming full-value and reputable material having many advantages compared to traditional materials and procedures:

High resistance to fire (the fireproof nature of wooden glued constructions is many times higher than with steel and concrete constructions; currently the fireproof time is designed for 40–60 minutes (according to the profile size). It is possible to enhance resistance to fire e.g. via increasing the cross-section of glued wooden elements or via providing fireproof painting to the client’s required resistance to fire);
Resistance to aggressive surroundings;
The highest ratio of bearing capacity to their own weight;
High visual quality;

Those properties are used in structures of:

Sport, production and storing halls;
Skeleton systems;
Different kinds of roofing of the areas with highly-demanding visual aspect (churches, theatres, residential attics);
Various footbridges and bridges for pedestrians and cyclists;

The production of glued wood is provided via the automatic line of the GRECON company. The standard manufacture dimensions of particular glued wooden elements, both flat and embowed, are 35m x 2m x 0.24m. The spans of constructions exceeding 100 m without supports pose no problem.

Production procedure certification

The TESKO plant has its own design office and two assembly groups allowing the offer of full-value and integral services to a wide sphere of clients.

The plant proves its competence and quality also through the fact that Tesko has been supplying almost a half of its production to highly demanding German and Austrian markets. We own all necessary certificates and testimonials for production of glued wooden constructions:

Certificate of product NO. C-02–19–001/98 (issued by the Research and Development Wood Institute in Prague);
Bescheinigung A and Übereinstimmungszertifikat Nr. : ÜZ-OGI-I 14.21.16 (issued by Otto-Grafi-Institute in Stuttgart);
Protocol on verification of compliance of the product type for wooden anti-noise panel absorbing noise and for wooden anti-noise panel reflecting noise (issued by the Centre of Construction Engineering in Prague 10);
